The Last Resort Motel: Room Thirteen by D. Kelly – Release Day

Release Date: April 12, 2018

Synopsis

Never in a million years did Sage Garcia think she would be spending her three-day weekend at The Last Resort Motel with the man she swore off years ago. If she hadn’t agreed to do a favor for her best friend Baxter, she would be enjoying her time off instead of being stuck up on a mountain with him.

After tricking Baxter into picking him up, Gabriel Ross is looking forward to a guys’ weekend. Besides, he can use all the help he can get while he runs the motel restaurant for the weekend. When he opens the door and finds Sage on the other side, he’s anything but disappointed. Too bad he can’t say the same about her. Sage still holds a grudge from a hookup years ago, but Gabe isn’t the boy he was back in the day and is looking forward to proving it to her.

With their chemistry burning hotter than ever, will Sage give in and let Gabe make amends? Or will she remain resentful while keeping her heart under lock and key?

The Shadow Weave by Annette Marie Review Tour

The Shadow Weave
Annette Marie
(Spell Weaver #2)
Publication date: January 12th 2018
Genres: Adult, Urban Fantasy

Clio might be a nymph living in exile among humans. And she might possess the rare ability to mimic any magic she sees. And she might have just seriously ticked off the most powerful family of spell weavers in the Underworld.

But she is not in love with an incubus.

Lyre is the rebellious black sheep of said weaver family, and he’s the only reason she survived her recent Underworld “vacation.” He’s also the sexiest thing she’s ever seen. Together, they have to track down a catastrophically dangerous magic—a magic he created, she sort of stole, and they both lost—before his family gets their hands on it. And that means fighting alongside him in a desperate attempt to avert complete disaster.

But she is definitely not in love with him. At least, she’s pretty sure she’s not.

Mostly sure. Maybe sure? …Crap.

Amanda’s Review

The Night Realm is the prequel to the Steel & Stone series and sets the stage a little for that series. It was ok. Clio has a few twists as she maneuvers her way through the underworld and her interactions with Lyre make this a fun read. It just didn’t hit all my go-to buttons to make it a great read, which is a little disappointing after the Red Winter series.
Shadow Weave is a good sequel to the first one and is better than the first even though it still moves a little sluggishly. The action was more exciting and made it a decent read. The inconsistencies of the characters could be a little off-putting but otherwise, I would recommend to fantasy fans.

Author Bio:

Annette Marie is the author of the Amazon best-selling Steel & Stone series, which includes Goodreads Choice Award nominee Yield the Night, and fantasy trilogy Red Winter. Her first love is fantasy, but fast-paced adventures and tantalizing forbidden romances are her guilty pleasures. She lives in the frozen winter wasteland of Alberta, Canada (okay, it’s not quite that bad) with her comparatively sensible husband and their furry minion of darkness—sorry, cat— Caesar. When not writing, she can be found elbow-deep in one art project or another while blissfully ignoring all adult responsibilities.

Kinda Don’t Care by Lani Lynn Vale

Title: Kinda Don’t Care
Series: The Simple Man #1
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: April 5, 2018
Cover Designer: Cover Me Darling
Photographer: FuriousFotog
Cover Model: Joey Berry
She’s in a white dress that dances around her ankles, and her hair tumbles in a long sheet of curls down her back. A veil covers her beautiful eyes, and she smiles directly at him. Janie is everything Rafe’s ever imagined she would be on her wedding day.

Breathtaking. Gorgeous. Perfect.

The moment he sees her walking down the aisle towards him, he knows that she’s the one.

Then she passes him, making her way to the man she’s to marry.

A man that wasn’t him.

A man that he knows with one hundred percent certainty isn’t good enough for her.

It seems that her father isn’t the only one who’s having a hard time giving her away. Rafe only wishes he knew why.

Everything about Janie sparks protective instincts he doesn’t feel for anyone, not even his own fiancé.

What he feels for the bride, however, isn’t merely a simple attraction. He knows that something is there just beneath the surface…if only he could reach it.

It has to be something huge, too, otherwise he wouldn’t be drinking whiskey straight from the flask in a church pew and wondering how many years he would do in prison if he shot the groom in front of about a hundred witnesses—half of those being cops.

He was good…but not that good.

A near-death experience cost Rafe almost six months of his memory, but right now he can’t help but feel like a huge mistake is being made on both of their parts. One that’s going to cost him everything.
Then she says I do.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.

Elusive by S.E. Hall ~*~COVER REVEAL~*~

Title: Elusive (Book 1 of the Princess Presley Duet)
Author: S.E. Hall
Genre: New Adult

Release Date: May 15, 2018
Hosted by: Buoni Amici Press, LLC.

Met her.
Got familiar.
Liked it.
A lot.

Wouldn’t mind some more.

Same ol’ story— they meet, roll around in the sheets, and get their happily ever after… or don’t— right? So what makes ours any different?

Simple. This story involves one Presley Alexandra Beckett.

The woman who takes any and every damn thing I thought I knew and flips, twists, distorts, denies and defies it until I lose track of up from down.
Just when I start to think I’ve got her figured out… I uncover the real reason why Presley spends her life hiding behind a wall of sassy, stubborn deflection.

And now?
Now I fix it.
Free her.
Make her mine.
Whether she likes it or not.

“Oh, please,” she scoffs. “All those big thoughts, bigger words, smooth tongue of yours, you need the answer about as bad as I need a lesson in sarcasm. You’re lucky, given our current locale, that there’s not a damn thing better to talk about, so I’ll play too.” She smirks and tosses me a wink. “A date, so I’ve been told, is this thing where a guy picks a girl up and takes her somewhere. Out. Planned by him. Paid for by him. Showing up at a lame ass party I’m already at doesn’t count.”

“Why we still standing here then? Let’s leave. I’ll drive you back to your place, wait a second, walk my happy ass to the door and take ya out. Anywhere you want to go, name the place.” She ducks her head to hide her smile, unsuccessfully, and I jump on the return of her playful mood, moving in closer. Bodies reconnected, spark instant and electric as though the first, I slip a finger under her chin and tilt her pretty face up to gain her eyes. “Presley, it is happening this time. We’re happening. Gonna be together, and it’s gonna be amazing. You’re stubborn as hell, but so am I, especially when it comes to you. Not giving up again, so settle in, Sugar.”

“We’re too young to settle, Sutton. Know what that really means? Boring! Stuck. Out of obligation, ethics, whatever. Miserably doing the right thing. Sexting turns into daily checks on what sounds good for dinner. Sex itself? Once a week, missionary, after the routine TV show ends. Guy gets comfortable, starts farting in front of her, she rocks her designated ‘rag panties’ out in the open and tells him all about her cramps, and they both feel free to poop with the door open! Why would you set that inevitable wheel in motion any sooner than you absolutely have to?”

S.E. Hall is the New York Times & USA Today bestselling author of the Evolve Series, standalone contemporary romances Pretty Instinct, Pretty Remedy and Unstable, and her standalone spinoff from the Evolve Series—Embody.

S.E., which stands for Stephanie Elaine, resides in Arkansas with her husband of 21 years and three amazing daughters of the home. She is also blessed with an older, married daughter, and son-in-law, who graced her with three beautiful grandchildren. And last, but far from least, is Roscoe—her precious lil’ lamb of a dog and best friend in the entire world… who can always be found right by her side.

When not watching her baby girl rule the mound of fastpitch softball or one of her songbird’s choir concerts, S.E. Hall can be found… in her garage. Oh, and she also enjoys reading, writing, gabbing on the phone and online shopping… in her garage.

Her other works include Stirred Up, Handled, Packaged, Matched, Filthy Foreign Exchange, Filthy Foreign Exchange 2 and One Naughty Night (co-written with Angela Graham), Conspire (co-written with Erin Noelle), Quarterback Sack (co-written with Hilary Storm) and Accidentally on Purpose (co-written with Ashley Suzanne).

ANONYMOUS by L.P. Dover

Title: ANONYMOUS
Author: L.P. Dover
Genre: Romantic Suspense Standalone
Release Date: April 23, 2018
Cover Designer: Regina Wamba
Every person has a story to tell. Some may be sweet with a happily ever after, but there are others that end in tragedy. Mine has yet to be finished.

My name is Elizabeth Kingston and this is where my story begins.

I never thought my life could be so perfect. I have an amazing job owning my own bakery, and a wonderful husband who I love and who loves me back. Never once did I have to worry about anything, at least, not until the texts started coming in. They always begin the same way … numbers that spell my nickname when read upside down.

31773

It’s someone from my past, only they won’t to tell me who they are, but that by talking to them, I’ll figure it out. It’s a game I refuse to play. Unfortunately, I’m left with no choice when things begin to take a dangerous turn.

His name is Anonymous and there’s only one thing he wants … ME.

It’s closing time and Vikki and I are busy cleaning, so we can get home. My phone beeps with an incoming text and I look down at it and growl. “You can’t be serious.” Staring back at me isn’t a text from Jake, but from Anonymous. Even though I deleted and blocked the number ninety days ago, I still recognize it.
Vikki moves closer, her eyes wide. “What’s going on?”
I show her the text.
Anonymous: 31773?
Brows furrowed, she sits back. “What does that mean?” I turn my phone upside down, so she can see that the number spells out my name. Her eyes widen. “Wow, that’s cool you can type your name with numbers.”
“But not so cool when I don’t know who the person is,” I counter. “About three months ago, I got texts from this exact same person. Whoever it is likes to play games. I’m sick of it and I want them to leave me alone.” Taking a deep breath, I type out a reply.
Me: WHO IS THIS?
Anonymous: Why all the yelling?
I roll my eyes. This is just ridiculous.
Me: I like using all caps.
Anonymous: Don’t stop on my account. So, what have you been up to? Been a while since we talked.
Me: Yeah, it’s because I blocked the number.
Anonymous: Why?
Me: BECAUSE I DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!!!!
“What is he saying?” Vikki asks. I show her the texts and her eyes widen. “So, you haven’t talked to him since you blocked the number?”
I think back to when I blocked it and if my calculations are correct, the ninety days was up yesterday. “No, but he has perfect timing. My ninety days ran up yesterday. I might need to run to the cell store and see if they can block it permanently.”
My phone beeps again and a sharp pain settles in my gut. I just want whoever it is to leave me alone.
Anonymous: That hurts. You’ve always been friendly toward me.
Me: Obviously not friendly enough, if you can’t tell me who you are. It’s weird and it makes me uncomfortable. You need to leave me the hell alone. Don’t text, call, or try to contact me in any way. I’m happily married, and I want it to stay that way. GOODBYE!
Heart racing, I log into my cell phone account and before I can block the number, another text comes through.
Anonymous: Sorry 31773 but that’s not going to happen.
The blood in my veins runs cold. Hands shaking, I block his number and my phone drops onto the table. Vikki picks it up and reads the final text, her face growing pale.
“I don’t think this person’s going away.”
